This starter policy explains the template's default privacy posture. Replace it with customer-specific legal language before production launch.
Contact inquiries
When a visitor sends an inquiry, the template collects the submitted name, email address, optional company name, and message. The planned Firebase function stores hashed email and IP values for analytics and rate limiting, plus submitted content needed to respond.
Analytics
Analytics are reject-by-default. Firebase Analytics is only loaded after consent. Customers may choose a cookieless alternative such as Plausible or Fathom.
Data retention
Inquiry retention should match the customer's operational needs and applicable legal requirements. A common default is to retain lead records for 12 to 24 months unless a longer customer relationship begins.
